Halifax Kennel Club Show is coming soon and we thought that we would post a reminder of expectations of set ups inside the building

 

1). No Ex-Pens are permitted

 

2). There is to be NO food brought in or consumed within the show premises. All that is allowed in is bottled water.

3). It is suggested that all crates have a waterproof covering eg tarpaulin under them. It would go a long way to show our respect for the venue.

 

4). Please exercise your dogs frequently to avoid accidents in the building.

 

5). Bait is permitted but must not be thrown in the rings. This will be strictly enforced.

 

6). For those with a large amount of gear to unload please use the large double doors that are around the back of the building. It will make your job easier.

Dog Health Reminders

No dog may be brought onto the grounds or premises of an event if it:
Is known to have distemper, parvovirus, kennel cough or other communicable disease;
Has recovered from distemper, parvovirus, kennel cough or other communicable disease within the last 30 days (prior to the event); Has been housed within 30 days prior to the even on premises on which there existed distemper, parvovirus, kennel cough or other communicable disease.
Clubs do have the right to remove a dog from the event premises and the exhibitor may be subject to disciplinary action if it is found that CKC rules have been contravened.
